Admission Rules for D.El.Ed. (Diploma in Elementary Education) The following admission rules are applicable for candidates seeking admission to the D.El.Ed. programme: Eligibility 1. The candidate must have passed Graduation or an equivalent examination from a recognized university. 2. The minimum qualifying marks shall be as prescribed by the concerned State Government, Examination Regulatory Authority, or NCTE guidelines. 3. Candidates belonging to reserved categories shall be provided relaxation in qualifying marks as per government norms. Age Limit 1. The minimum age for admission shall be 18 years. 2. The maximum age limit shall be as per the rules prescribed by the State Government or the concerned admission authority. Admission Process 1. Admission shall be strictly based on the merit list or entrance examination conducted by the competent authority. 2. Candidates must complete the online/offline registration process within the prescribed schedule. 3. Any false information or incorrect documents submitted during admission shall result in cancellation of candidature. Required Documents Applicants must submit self-attested copies of the following documents: 1. High School (10th) Mark Sheet and Certificate 2. Intermediate (12th) Mark Sheet and Certificate 3. Graduation Mark Sheets and Degree Certificate 4. Transfer Certificate (TC) 5. Character Certificate 6. Migration Certificate (if applicable) 7. Category Certificate (SC/ST/OBC/EWS), if applicable 8. Domicile Certificate (if required) 9. Aadhaar Card 10. Passport-size recent photographs 11. Income Certificate (if applicable) 12. Medical Fitness Certificate (if required) Verification of Documents 1. Admission shall be confirmed only after successful verification of all original documents. 2. The institute reserves the right to reject any application if discrepancies are found. Reservation Policy Reservation for SC, ST, OBC, EWS, PwD, and other eligible categories shall be provided according to the prevailing Government rules. Fee Payment 1. Candidates must deposit the prescribed admission and tuition fees within the notified time. 2. Failure to pay the fees within the due date may result in cancellation of admission. Attendance 2. Students must maintain a minimum attendance percentage as prescribed by NCTE and the affiliating authority. 2. Students failing to meet the attendance requirement may not be permitted to appear in examinations. Code of Conduct 1. Students must maintain discipline, regular attendance, and good conduct throughout the course. 2. Ragging is strictly prohibited. Any student found involved in ragging shall face disciplinary action as per the Anti-Ragging Act and Government regulations. Cancellation of Admission Admission may be cancelled if: 1. The candidate submits forged or misleading documents. 2. The candidate fails to fulfill the eligibility criteria. 3. The candidate does not complete the admission formalities within the stipulated time. 4. The admission is cancelled by the competent authority due to violation of applicable rules.
